Hospitality and vacation rentals have always been a part of Macauley’s life. She has fond memories as a child collecting flowers from her Memoo’s garden to make arrangements for incoming guests for her parent’s vacation rental in Damariscotta, Maine. Macauley grew up outside of Philadelphia and has great memories of the East Coast and spending her summers in Maine. After pursuing a Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management degree at a small private university, Johnson & Wales in Providence, Rhode Island, Macauley transferred to West Chester University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Communications degree. Right after graduation, Macauley packed up her car and moved to Austin, Texas knowing no one, to pursue a career in event management. After realizing events were not her true passion, she interviewed with a WLVR client for their small business, was introduced to Sharon Walker and the rest is history. Macauley is about to celebrate ten years with WLVR and is the Executive Director. She has served as a resource to owners and guests, as well as every member of the WLVR team.
In June of 2018, Macauley relocated to Boulder, Colorado where she continues her role with WLVR. The move was prompted by a love for the mountains and wanting to be closer to her family. Little did she know she would end up purchasing a home right across the street from her parents (good thing she loves them)!
In her spare time, Macauley enjoys spending time with her husband Charlie & their daughter Weston. She also enjoys traveling, camping, fishing with her dad, and college football – WE ARE, PENN STATE! The number one item on her bucket list is to go to a summer Olympics. If you have any hookups, let her know!
