Melinda’s career began in hospitality, where she worked as a pastry chef and created hundreds of wedding cakes before opening multiple restaurants, including her own French café. She later launched a home staging company serving California and Austin and went on to lead teams in the luxury furniture industry, bringing an eye for detail and a commitment to exceptional guest experiences throughout her career.

Melinda is no stranger to Walker. Having previously worked in inspections, reservations, and staging, she’s returned as Field Manager, where she oversees new home onboarding and helps ensure every property is maintained to the highest standards.

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, baking, and thrifting. She has two kids — one studying in New Zealand and the other baking cakes at one of Austin’s favorite spots.
