Hospitality and vacation rentals have always been a part of Macauley’s life. She has fond memories of collecting flowers from her Memoo’s garden as a child to create arrangements for incoming guests at her family’s vacation rental in Damariscotta, Maine. Originally from outside Philadelphia, Macauley grew up with strong East Coast roots and spent her summers in Maine—something that remains a special part of her life today.
After college, Macauley made a bold move to Austin, Texas, where she began building her career and ultimately found her way to Walker Luxury Vacation Rentals. Now celebrating 12 years with WLVR, she serves as Executive Director and has become a trusted resource for homeowners, guests, and team members alike. Her deep industry knowledge, leadership, and long-standing relationships have played a key role in the company’s growth.
After spending seven years in Boulder, Colorado, Macauley has returned to Austin, where she is excited to continue putting down roots and raising her family with her husband, Charlie, and their two daughters, Weston and Waverly.
Outside of work, Macauley has explored much of the U.S., including countless national parks, and has a bucket list goal of attending the Summer Olympics. A devoted Eagles and Penn State fan (WE ARE!), she loves spending time outdoors with her daughters, fishing, and exploring Austin’s vibrant food scene.
