Growing up in Coastal California in a family of entrepreneurs and artists, Melinda’s days were spent alongside her mother and grandmother who passed on to her, their passion for art, interior design, and cooking. These experiences shaped Melinda’s career path beginning in the culinary arts as a Pastry Chef with an emphasis on wedding cakes. Melinda moved to Austin bringing with her a home staging and garden styling business that she still works on when time permits. Melinda has an extensive background in visual merchandising along with a passion for customer service. She believes that stellar service is at the core of a memorable stay in any one of Walker Luxury Vacation Rentals outstanding properties. Melinda has several certifications including ASP (Accredited Staging Professional) HSR (Certified Home Staging Professional), Certified E-designer, and Investor Staging Consultation Designation. In her spare time she loves to garden, travel with her kids and live like a domestic Goddess!
